This 7,200-yard championship golf course has been named twice as one of America’s Best Residential Golf Courses by Golfweek. The club features a premier practice facility to help you get in tip-top shape before every round, as well as new bentgrass on the golf course, putting surfaces on every hole.

Swim & Tennis
The Winchester Swim and Tennis Center offers an exceptional array of recreational activities for every member of the family. Open daily, the center features a junior Olympic-sized swimming pool, three tennis courts and stunning views from the expansive deck. Pool activities and in-house tennis leagues and lessons are available on an ongoing basis with Winchester’s expert staff.
The center also serves as an ideal venue for both community events and private functions for Winchester Community Association members.
Located above the pro shop, the 3,200 square-foot fitness center was recently renovated and expanded to offer members the ultimate health and fitness experience, as well as stunning views of Winchester Country Club’s beautiful landscape.
To maintain Winchester Country Club’s resort-style atmosphere, each machine station includes a personal flat screen TV with 27 cable channels. Not to mention, an endless supply of healthy refreshments are available so members can stay hydrated and nourished after their workout. The facility is also equipped with luxurious men’s and women’s locker rooms and a revitalizing sauna.
The facility features 23 exercise machine stations with a wide variety of exercise options, including treadmills, bikes, cardio, cross-trainers, elliptical machines and plenty of other functional training equipment to help make your workout fun and effective. Besides the various machines, there are areas designated for free weights, exercise mats, medicine balls, and additional training equipment to support virtually everything members need for their particular routine. Lifestyle Director, Tracy Haaland, has enhanced Winchester’s fitness schedule with classes that feature both indoor and outdoor options including hiking, indoor cycling, Pilates, water aerobics and yoga to name a few.

Sitting atop a hill, the stunning clubhouse overlooks the golf course with clear views to Mount Diablo and the Sacramento Valley. From soaring stone chimneys to the grand terrace to dramatic interiors graced with vintage chandeliers, the clubhouse is reminiscent of a classic European hunting lodge – elegant yet comfortable for every occasion. The 35,000 square-foot clubhouse is the hub of the community and reflects the Winchester Way of Life. Recently remodeled, the clubhouse provides members and their guests with a unique, beautiful place to gather and socialize.
The first two levels of the clubhouse include a causal pub, pro shop, locker rooms with saunas, a fitness studio, a formal lobby, and dining room with a full-service kitchen. The third level features a stunning fitness center complete with a cardio and weight room that overlooks the golf course’s 18th hole—offering spectacular views of the greens and the grounds.
Chef Brian Coe has transformed the Winchester Country Club dining experience from typical “club fare” to a unique menu with exciting twists on traditional favorites. Placer County is renowned for its fresh produce stands, and Chef Coe incorporates fresh, locally sourced ingredients into his menus.

Winchester Country Club is home to numerous events each year. The club and its diverse group of members host fundraising events to benefit local charities, member/guest golf tournaments, and member only events like the annual Club Championship. Each month there are several events for members to participate in and programming is ever growing and changing.
